Hooker Electric Motor Cable Extension

Our Hooker Electric Power Cable Extension provides additional customization of your setup and easy accessibility. Hooker Electric Cable Extensions utilize Cobra Battery Systems Cable which is insulated with a thermoset EPDM insulation that has excellent abrasion resistance, strippability, flexibility, and dielectric strength. It is also RoHS compliant. This specification covers the requirements for flexible single conductor motor lead and coil lead wire and meets the requirements of UL subject 758 and CSA C22.2 #210.2.

This UL 3311 product is suitable for use as battery cable, welding cable, motor leads, and other DC power applications including the internal wiring of appliances and uninterruptible power supply systems. The cable is acid-resistant and certified zero-halogen.  Includes Hubbell 2 pole 3 wire grounding female plug rated 30A – 60A 28V DC and one each attached red and black ring terminal PVC 16GA 5/8″ Stud.

• 5′ extension with 8/2 AWG gauge wire 30A rated
• 5′ extension with 6/2 AWG gauge wire 60A rated
• 10′ extension with 8/2 AWG gauge wire 30A rated
• 10′ extension with 6/2 AWG gauge wire 60A rated

Important Note: Any reel with a single motor, 8-2 gauge works well. However, a dual-motor will require a 6-2 gauge wire. Custom lengths available upon request.
