The Hooker Electric Penn® International® 70 VIS Detachable motors share all the same great features as the Hooker Electric Penn® 80 and 130 in a more compact design including one very important feature, the Hooker Electric drive unit is fully detachable from the reel. This allows the angler to drop and retrieve the rig quickly but when the bite hits, “off comes the drive” and you’re ready to fight the fish manually. The Hooker Electric Penn® International® 70 VIS Detachable has the same gears, motor, and internal electrical parts as the larger reels and it retains the handle for a full manual fight in low gear.  The reel is capable of a retrieval rate of 500 ft/min at full speed with an estimated 55 pounds of drag.

Whether you are deep-dropping for daytime Swordfish, dredge pulling for billfish, the Hooker Electric Penn® International® 70 VIS does it all. The unit is capable to retrieve line up to 500 ft/per minute at full speed. You have full speed control function in addition to the remote control. It includes an RF remote with a 100 ft-range 2-button for hands-free operation. Button (A) for half speed and button (B) for full speed.

After receiving, we will professionally assemble and test each configuration purchased. Finally, we will ship your combined items back to you expediently. The return shipping cost will have been paid by means of the original purchase during checkout. Combo’s entail all new content, therefore such purchases do not require any reel prerequisites.
