R&R 9mm Kite Rings

These R&R Tackle 9mm Kite Rings rounded high quality stainless steel ring is specifically designed for use with the R&R M2 kite clip. Stainless Solid Rings are used by kite fisherman for live baiting to prevent line fraying. The solid ring is the center system. Used to hook onto split ring and “assist hooks”. Rings slide over line and attach to release clips to allow friction-reduced passage of line during drop-back either trolling or live baiting. A more rounded and highly polished finish allows for less friction on line passing through the ring.

Kite Rings are an important accessory to have when rigging your tackle for fishing off the kites. Whether fishing live or dead baits, a kite ring will allow the angler to clip his line to the release clip via the ring instead of clipping the line directly to the release clip. The kite ring is placed on your fishing line, the ring is then attached to the release clip. The ring allows the line to sit lower on the release clip allowing for 360 degree movement eliminating the possibility of the line getting tangled on the actual release clip.

R&R Tackle 9mm heavy-duty Stainless Steel Solid Kite Rings offer superior strength as connectors between lines and leader. Unlike brittle ceramic kite rings, our forged smooth surface non-welded kite rings will not break. They resist abrasion from wire lines and unlike split rings will not cut through softer lines. In addition to using our rings on kite release clips, our kite rings may be also be used on down rigger release clips, as well as on outrigger release clips. Salt tested and field tested and available in a ten pack.
