Hooker Electric’s Return Policy
Hooker Electric has been “doing what we do” successfully for many years now because we strive for customer satisfaction. If anything is not to your satisfaction, simply call us and we will speak to you regarding your issues. If in a rare case, we have manufactured a reel incorrectly or any of our merchandise is defective, Hooker Electric will make it right.
REELS, ACCESSORIES & APPAREL
All sales on Hooker Electric reels, pumps, gear, apparel & accessories are final. No refunds or exchanges can be offered. Please understand, all of the reels are custom-built, based on the specifications provided by our customers. This is the industry reason for not allowing or accepting returns.
MANUFACTURER DEFECTS
We warrant that our reels are free from defects in material and workmanship for the lifetime of the original owner. Subject to the conditions and limitations set forth by the warranty that accompanies every reel. We will, at our option, either repair or replace any part of its products that prove defective by reason of improper workmanship or materials. This warranty does not cover any damage to this product that results from fire, intentional breakage, accident, abuse, misuse, natural disaster, repair, or modification. This warranty covers only repair or replacement for defective Hooker Electric components. We reserve the right to determine whether to repair or replace any Hooker Electric product covered by warranty and the right to replace any discontinued or special edition models with comparable models when necessary. Colors and components may vary between original and replacement parts.
REPAIR SHIPPING
Whenever approved or applicable, return shipping for repair is the responsibility of the customer. To return your product, you should ship your reel to:

Please download to your device, fill out and enclose a printed copy with the reel using our “Hooker Electric Repair or Replacement Form” downloadable HERE. Please call our service center during normal business hours to discuss the total cost of repair. Then the form can be totaled and check enclosed, or payment made by credit card when we call you.
Description of Reel Service: $79 (models 16, 20, 30), $99 (model 50), $119 (models 70, 80, 130). Service includes cleaning reel, testing electronics, cleaning drag system, greasing and packing bearings or replacing bearings if needed, and lubricating.
Shipped items must be delivered to us via UPS, FedEx, or USPS Priority Mail for tracking/confirmation purposes. We assume no liability for loss or damage of returned packages, therefore we recommend you purchase insurance from your shipper sufficient to replace the item shipped.
